Experience:
- Food Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Monitor all food merchandisers according to demand and expiration time requirements
- Implement food preparation methods and portion sizes to ensure food quality, appearance and consistency
- Discuss and implement ideas and areas that can grow sales, increase margin and control waste
- Order and inventory food and supplies
- Train and develop staff by continuously improving their skills and knowledge
- Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements
to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees
- Comply with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving to ensure we meet standards
- Correct all violations noted by Health Inspector, District Food Service Manager or Hot Stuff FBC
- Cook and hold all food at proper temperatures
- Properly label and date all food items
- Any other tasks required by your supervisor
Requirements
- Operate electronic cash register and other equipment
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to bend repetitively and kneel
- Able to stand for extended periods of time on a regular basis
- Work in extreme cold and hot temperatures (stocking coolers/freezers and outside chores)
